Rosary Club

All children from Years 4 to 6 complete the Rosary Challenge in October, as organised by the 'Mark 10 Mission'. They look forward to sharing in the Mysteries and prayers, bringing them even closer to God and being one in Christ. The children learn about the Rosary in class and this helps them when completing a decade of the Rosary. Our younger children pray the Lord's Prayer, Hail Mary and Glory Be daily during this time, as the whole school celebrates this special month of Mary. 

During the month May we remember Mary in a special way and the prayer time is dedicated to Mary. The children gather and spend five to ten minutes contemplating the Mysteries and completing a decade of the Rosary. We use the 'Mark 10 Mission' to guide our prayers. Other times of the year we include other set prayers following the liturgical year and also give the children opportunity to pray spontaneously.
