Extra-curricular clubs
We offer an extensive range of extra-curricular activities at St Mary's, including many free clubs and a small number of paid for activities. Clubs and activities take place most days during lunchtimes and after school.
Activities are run on a voluntary basis by staff members and the offer varies from year to year. Amongst other clubs include rugby, football, netball, art, debating. Paid activities include Newport County Football.
Children benefit hugely from their participation in extra-curricular activities. They enrich the curriculum provided within the school day, support development of relationships between pupils across the school and generally enrich the life of the whole community.
