St. Mary’s R.C. Primary School is situated on the outskirts of the city centre of Newport. The school serves mainly the Roman Catholic community of the west Newport. The Catholic Parish of All Saints, Newport includes the church communities of St Mary's; St Anne’s; St David Lewis’; St Michael's; St Gabriel's; St Julius the Martyr and Ss Julius, Aaron & David. (The daughter churches of St Basil and St Gwladys and St David's are cared for by other ecclesial bodies).

First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion 2024
Registration for the sacraments of First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion in 2024 is now open to children in Year 3 and above who have been baptised Catholic.
