Admissions & School Transport

At St Mary's we are our own admissions authority.  Please click on the links below for our admissions policy and current application forms.   If you have any queries regarding admissions please ring the school and ask to speak with our Admissions Officer Mrs Maria Lewis.   Forms can be posted to the school or emailed to us at stmarysrc.primary@newportschools.wales

Please complete the electronic application form above and return via e-mail to stmarysrc.primary@newportschools.wales together with your supporting documents.  On-time applications received between 6th November 2023 and 9th January 2024 will receive a decision letter via e-mail on 16th April 2024. 

Any late applications received between 9th January 2024 and 30th April 2024 will be considered by the Governing Body in May 2024. 

Application forms for admission to St Mary's Reception Class in September 2025 will be available from 6th November 2024.  The closing date for application forms to be returned to your first preference Newport Roman Catholic Primary School is 9th January 2025.

We will hold an Open Day for prospective parents to visit St Mary's - date to be confirmed.
