Admission to Reception Class in September 2025

Application forms for admission to St Mary's Reception Class in September 2025 will be available from 6th November 2024.  The closing date for application forms to be returned to your first preference Newport Roman Catholic Primary School is 9th January 2025.

OPEN DAY - TUESDAY, 26TH NOVEMBER 2024

We are holding an Open Day for prospective parents to visit St Mary's on Tuesday, 26th November 2024.  There are three session times available: 9:30am, 11:00am or 2:00pm - please contact the school office on 01633 840490 to reserve your place.  (The Open Day sessions are intended for parents only please, if possible.) 

Application for an in-year school admission or transfer (to change your child's school)

School Transport

Applications for home to school transport are processed by Newport City Council.  Please click on the following link for further information and to access the online application.

Application for Secondary School Yr 7 September 2025

 

Completed application forms for St Joseph's RC High School should be returned to St Mary's School Office by 5:00pm on Wednesday, 13th November 2024.  If your child is baptised Catholic, you must submit a copy of their baptism certificate with the application form.  If you are unable to locate your original baptism certificate, a copy can be provided by the church where your son/daughter was baptised.
