NHS Text Service for Parents & Carers
The School Nursing Service at Aneurin Bevan University Health Board are excited to launch Parent/CarerLine, a new SMS text service for parents and carers of children aged 5 to 16!
Parents and carers can text (SMS) our school nurses on 07507 330206 for expert advice and support with a child's health and wellbeing. Did you know, we also have a confidential text service for young people aged 11 – 19?

Flu Vaccination - School Nursing Service
12.12.2025 Now that the School Nursing service has completed the Flu programme in schools, if your child missed having their Flu vaccination on the session day, they can have this by visiting ABUHB Vaccination Centre in Cwmbran or you can book an appointment at any of the community vaccination clinics across the health board by calling 0300 303 1373.
